The self-piercing rivet gun is wireless and rechargeable. It includes two lithium batteries and a charger. You don’t need air power or a power supply.

This equipment is designed for self-piercing riveting of 3.0mm aluminum plates and 2.5mm aluminum profiles. It features standard pressure riveting and a manual pneumatic shut-off valve to cut off the air source. In manual mode, the operator places the workpiece into the positioning mold and presses the footswitch. The cylinder starts the self-piercing riveting process. When the set pressure is reached, the system rivets the part to the required standard. If the pressure is insufficient, the equipment will not return automatically. The operator must press the emergency stop button to manually return the die, ensuring quality riveting.
The general empirical formula is: nail length = total plate thickness + 2mm or 3mm / total plate thickness + 1mm or 2mm.
For thin plates with small rivet points, manufacturers typically use 3.4 SPR rivets.
Self-piercing rivets (SPRs) feature specially engineered internal geometry that eliminates the need for pre-punched or pre-drilled holes. The rivet pierces the top layer of material, passes through to the base layer, and expands to lock into place when used with a specifically designed SPR die.
The traditional countersunk rivet process takes more time and incurs higher costs. In some delicate applications, countersunk rivets scratch or damage the surface of signs, especially the reflective surface, compromising both appearance and functionality. In contrast, the Self-Piercing Rivet (SPR) process offers a more efficient and straightforward solution. SPR reduces production time and costs significantly while protecting the reflective surface of signs. SPR rivets create strong connections without damaging the material surface, ensuring the required strength and performance standards.
