Coil Rack: The rack holds the coil on an expanding mandrel, supported by an adjustable base that fits the coil’s inner diameter. During automatic operation, a loop control system intermittently turns the mandrel to uncoil material at a constant line speed. An integrated diameter sensor and feedback control ensure uniform pay-off to prevent coil tangling.
Coil Car: Mounted at the center of the rack’s base, the cart uses hydraulic cylinders to lift and align the coil’s inner bore onto the mandrel. The operator manually positions the rack, and the cart’s hydraulic lift secures the coil for uncoiling.
Feed-In Assembly: The feed-in rolls open and close manually to clamp the leading edge of the material. In combination with the coil car, this mechanism safely guides the strip into the incoming leveling rolls.
This three-in-one servo leveling decoiler is built for heavy-gauge, high-yield-strength coil processing. Its rollers are heat-treated for maximum hardness and wear resistance. Leveling rollers feature hard-chrome plating and precision grinding, while feed rollers are shot-blasted to eliminate slippage and maintain accurate strip delivery. Powered by a Siemens control system, it guarantees consistent, high-precision feeding. A large, high-resolution color touchscreen provides intuitive operation and integrates safety interlocks for worry-free use.

An optical loop sensor monitors the material slack between the decoiler and the leveler. Its feedback signal adjusts the hydraulic motor on the mandrel, slowing or stopping it, to keep the loop at an optimal length. This ensures a uniform line speed, preventing coil overruns or stalls.
Position the hydraulic coil car under the rack and raise it 350 mm to align the mandrel with the coil’s bore. Expand the mandrel with the hydraulic cylinder to lock the coil in place. Guide the strip into the open feed-in rollers, then clamp the rollers shut to grip the material for leveling.
